Dear Concerned Reader,
Thanks for checking out my site.
I’m sure you have better things to do, but thanks for taking a moment or two...hey, that rhymes.
ANYHOO, here are the facts. I was born the left handed, middle child of five, from the southern regions of the United States. By “southern regions”, I mean the south shore of Long Island. I attended and graduated from Garden City High School, as did Miss Susan Lucci! AKA Erica Kane from ALL MY CHILDREN! OMG!!
I then made the arduous journey across town to attend and graduate from ADELPHI University, BFA ’88. FYI - Adelphi University has yet to graduate a major soap opera star. Just saying.....
Next Stop, Southern Methodist University – MFA ’91, where I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to study and work with some of the most talented, and brightest minds in theatre from the U.S., England and abroad: Cicely Berry, Pasty Rodenburg, Ronald Eyre, and Cecil O’Neal.
Upon completion of my degree, I headed back to NYC making guest appearances on Law & Order, Dell Aventura, and Spin City, while continuing to perform in both local and regional theatre.
It was at this time, I embarked upon what has become a long and successful career as a voice over artist for both Television and Radio. This includes numerous narration and promotional series for various networks and outlets: ABC, CBS, HBO, NBC, TRU TV, DISCOVERY, A&E and NICKELODEON. Along the way I have appeared in over 150 television commercials and counting: a “face for radio?”
It was while I was back in NYC for a few years that my career took a different, and amusing turn. I formed a musical comedy act, and began to play locally and nationally at comedy clubs, colleges, and corporate conventions. Our name?
The KNUCKLEHEADS....no shock there.
THE TRI STATE AREAS ONLY LICENSED ENTERTAINMENT EXPLOSION. Equipped with guitars, harmonicas and an accordion, we carved out a singular niche in the musical comedy world for the next decade. Touring and recording, and playing more comedy festivals than anyone in their right mind should ever play, and twice named champions at New York Comedy Club's prestigious comedy competition.
All great stories must come to an end, and this bio should be no exception. I am currently a solo performer in the musical comedy arena, playing my catalogue of funny, off-kilter, and, occasionally inappropriate, songs at local clubs in and around the NYC area. I reside in Hoboken, N.J. [insert Sinatra reference here] a quick bike and subway ride away from the BIG APPLE, where I continue to perform, work, audition, and eat lunch.
